    You bunch Of Lucky Fucks

I remember how much work I did training in the late 70's and early 80's to put on size. Wow what an advantage being younger. I've been struggling to gain the size on the tri's that I want. At one time I had 22.5" arms and all Tri's as the bi's took a long coffee break. Now I struggle at my age to get the size I want. I may never reach my goal of 20" arms again. I'm 53 and right now there 18 1/4". Not bad for 238 lbs, 6' maybe one inches tall. It such a prick to work so hard to gain an 1/8".
I'm not going to give up and let this shit beat me. I'm retire and I have all the time to study and get things right. By the time I reach 54 yrs old Sept 17th 2006 I will have 20" guns. I will do what evers needed to obtain my goal, and if it ends up killing me so fucking what. At least I'll make my goal.

I see a lot of old posters come back to this site saying they took off a year and how tough it is getting back into it. Well I took off 20 years and man it is tough. I'd suggest to any and all of you who love working out not to stop.

I'd guess that the majority of the people who post here have parents younger the me. If so the next time you look at you father, imagine him starting a training routine and trying to get his arms to 20". You'd laugh at him and tell you father, Dad I'm a bodybuilder and young and will probably never hit 20" arms. Just

I probably don't have a point here and just ranting as a lot of you call it. I love bodybuilding as tough as it is and I refuse to now to let it beat me. My name is "Tough old Man" or (P)lenty (T)ough and this is what I live for, Being TOUGH

It's not your last chance brother. I didn't restart until I was 51. It's just easier to add size the younger you are.

    Hey Tough,
Never give in! I am 39 will be 40 in feb. My plan is to go into my 40's in the best shape of my life! I take three months off every year because I am the head football coach in our High School and it takes all of my time. My BF is about 17% right now but by spring it will be 12%. I have three little boys that have grown up in the gym, so it is a family affair.......................now if I could just get my wife in there!!!!

Mind you what I need is a damned good kick in the arse to get me into that room with the weights, and less reflecting and ruminating on the matter......

I know what you mean about the wife. Mine started with me last year and quit after the second day. She couldn't handle me telling her to speed it up a little bit. I keep trying to get her back but to no-avail

Probably have muscles on your nut sack! I guess I am just not educated enough on the gear to make any insightful comments about it. it would seem that a guy my age would benifit from elevated test levels!
