Best exercises to fix slouching

I've been working out and eating right for about 4 months now and have already made amazing progress. One area where I still need significant help with though is with strengthening the muscles between my shoulder blades. I have a tendency to slouch slightly unless I specifically focus on keeping my shoulders held back.

I've been doing bent-over rows with dumbbells reguarly. Is this the best thing to do to strengthen these muscles or is there something else that would help me more?

Thanks. Do you have a preference between cable rows vs. free-weight rows?

I find that with the cable row I can hold myself in a better position without having to worry about my form breaking down as when you do a bent over row. It is much easier to stay supported and focus on that area that you are trying to work with the cable row.
