    home gym

does anyone here know anything about nautilus home gyms? i am thinking about getting the ns500 they say it is close to being the same as free weights ( althought it is cable) i tried it , it seems fairly smooth. is it a good machine to build a little muscle? and to get toned up?it has 200lbs a weight to it.
it is 2000 dollars but is a nice piece of equipment and made well, so i dont think it would not get used.

any info would be much aprreciated! thanks

If you want home equipment, you can do a lot better than that for a lot less than $2000.

Get an adjustable bench, chinup bar, adjustable power rack, olympic barbell, adjustable dumbbells, dip/chin belt, and enough weights to last you. You can purchase all that for well under $1000.

You could also purchase a tall barbell stand and some sawhorses instead of the power rack to save more money.

A dip station would be another valuable addition.

that thing looks like it takes up so much room! why not just get a bench and weights? If you have enough room for that contraption you can get a sweet as power rack with a platform attachment off the front of it and some bumper plates and you are stacked!

If I had this I wouldn't leave my house:
