I have the book "power of 10."

The nutrition advice is standard and can be found anywhere on the web or in this forum.

The "slow-burn" workout is different. If done properly you can get a good workout, but I agree that this really seems to be for people who don't have much time or are into these faddish training methods.

Kenwood I'll give you credit for effort. You keep searching. This is better then most.

My friend, if you find something that works, use it and quit fucking asking questions about other training over and over. When you get to a point that something is not working then ask

Your questions on training are getting old. Stay with Cows training until it doesn't work. You'll end up making him feel like I did and then you'll get no help.

One of the points he often reiterates is that it can be done in 20 minutes.

Twenty minutes per week, that is.

I think he's targeting the market of people who don't have time, or don't want to spend time exercising.

I see no point in going slow on the positive portion of the lift. You could just lift at a faster tempo for more repetitions. The only difference would be that I would recruit more type II B fibers because of the fact that it takes a greater amount of force to move a weight faster.

Now, if the ratio of concentric to eccentric was 1:4 or something like that, then that's another story. The eccentric portion of a lift is implicated in maximal hypertrophy gains.
