    Romanian Deadlifts

    Does anyone do these? This routine I am using calls for them, and I used them tonight for the time and fell in love. they are excellent.

    I've done them before. I prefer regular or stiff-legged deadlifts, but it's a good movement as well.

    I find I get a little bit more of a stretch in my hamstrings with Romanian deadlifts, but I can't move quite as much weight relative to other forms of deadlifts.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    yea, i was planning on doing 225 for all my sets, but wasn't able to with how much my hamstrings were hurting.

    also, for back and hamstrings combined i definitly like regular deadlifts more, but for an isolated hamstring excercise, romanian deadlifts is what i will be using from now on.

    A Romanian deadlift is basically a stiff leg deadlift except that you let the bar deviate several inches from your shins.

    Holy shit... if I ever saw someone doing the Tabata Squat prior to seeing that video, I probably would have pissed my pants laughing.
