Please layout your routine for us. It's hard to tell you what to do if we don't know what isn't working for you already.

Most people whose arms aren't growing fall into one of two camps: (a) Those who aren't eating enough, and (b) those who overtrain their arms. Some people are doing both.

My arms are so skinny it sucks. I gained 35lbs in my current bulk. Everything else has grown very well except my arms. I don't directly work my biceps or triceps though. I do occassionaly. I'm just lanky. I have long legs and long arms.

From the sound of it, perhaps you should work your biceps and triceps directly. Some people need to and some people don't.

I've always had luck throwing some supersets of bi/tris in my routines to help in this. But then again, my arms have always been the easiest when it comes to growth. But I do agree with CowPimp, without seeing your routine, it's hard to say what to do/ or not do.

Off topic. You do 12 sets for chest? What does that routine look like?

This is going to sound crazy, but bear with me. Try not training your arms directly at all for a little bit. 12 sets is generally far more than necessary assuming that you are performing good push/pull movements: flat press, overhead pressing, rowing, pullups, etc.

As I said on a different post to someone looking for big arms. Worry about the rest of your body. Increase the size of your quads (Squats), back width and back thickness (deadlifts), Chest (Bench), Shoulders (overhead presses) and the arms will follow
I'm starting to think that half the people here would rather have 18" arms with a 38" chest and 19" quads.

Eat lots, make your entire body bigger like P-funk said, and do about 4-8 sets a week for bis and tris... Though for ectos like me, and others here, arms are very tough to get to the point of being satisfied with... More than likely it'll take lots of time and consistent training/dieting. Lay out your routine, diet, and stats for us so we have more info to help you.

That makes me laugh just thinking of what someone would look like with those stats.

yeah, 12 sets for your biceps or triceps is an awful lot. also, if you've been doing that split for a while, it would probably be helpful to try a completely new split for 8-10 weeks. if this is the case, try taking a week off completely, and designing a whole new workout plan for yourself. it will probably pay off.

overtraining comes slowly.... adding a set here, adding a set there. if you stick with the same workout for a long time, some body parts are bound to get stronger than others. that's why it's good to take a week off and try something completely different every so often, it helps to maintain balance.

if youd rather not do this, then not directly training your arms for a little while, as cowpimp said, is a good solution.

He hasn't been traning his biceps or triceps directly. So if not working them isn't working, it would hehoove him to hit them directly.
