Post Back exercises and tris

When doing Upper Back workout like Pull Ups, Pulldowns, Barbell Rows, etc...do these upper back exercises cause any (significant) effect to our LOWER back? Cuz I train upper back on Monday and Lower Back (and legs) on Wednesday, therefore wondering whether will the upper back exercises link with the lowerback?

Also, Skull Crushers and Close Grip Bench Press, which is better for triceps?

Well, the lower back will act as a stabilizer in exercises such as bent rows and t-bar rows. However,I think it is more a matter or preference.I like to do deadlifts at my back workout in order to hit my lower back.If you find that your lower back is not sore on your leg day than you should be fine seperating them.As far as close grips vs skull crushers, again, this is an individual thing.I personally don't like skull crushers and love close grips, however,I know many that feel the opposite way.Just hit your tri's from a variety of angles to stimulate all three heads. But don't force yourself to use a movement that you do not feel just because someone else says you should. We must discover for ourselves what works best, but we must be honest too,and not avoid the hard movements because of laziness.

Great post gopro!

This goes back to what I said in another post of yours sky! We are all a little different and most of this stuff basically comes down to personal preference. Just because somebody tells you something like, "this exercise is useless" or "this is a much better exercise than that one" doesn't mean a whole lot. They're basically telling you what works for them even if they don't say it. So you need to be aware of this and not get your hopes up. Mechanically if one exercise feels better to you than another, sick with that one because if you try to do something, especially when it comes to weights, that you don't feel comfortable doing, you will have a much greater risk of injury!

I agree with Gropro, I've also found that using a reverse grip (palms up) with tri's has really made a difference for me.
