    What is this called?

I'm looking online for the lifting belt that lets you add weight to yourself for dips and pullups. Any special name for it? Know any good ones? I haven't found any online yet, just regular lifting belts.

I believe it's just called a dip belt. I know they have some at EliteFTS, but they are probably expensive. However, by the same token, I'm sure they are of very high quality.

True that. Actually, I need to order a dip belt as well. My gym doesn't have one. I just hold a DB between my feet when I do chinups. I can't really do it with dips though, because I can do dips with a lot more weight.

Think I'll take a pic of what I used for weighted dips. I took my lifting belt, drilled a hole on ea side and added clips to it. Now I just hook my rope with hooks that i made to the weight and belt and get busy. I'l edit this is a bit with a pic

I expect nothing less from a guy who welded his own squat rack!!!! Awesome work!

I thought about doing it this way but I don't even want to have a lifting belt around the weight room. I have a broken vertrbrae and don't want the temptation to use it, I'd rather to lighter and keep my core coming along.

I like lifting heavy too much, so that belt may be more then I can handle temptation wise even with the rig on it!!
