    How many times do you do an isolation bicep curl during your day? How about a barbell curling motion? Probably just about never. Now, think about the hammer curl. You lift a backpack over your shoulder. You pick up a drink from the table. Hammer curls therefore have much more carryover to functional movements than do regular curls IMO.

    I've done cable curls while laying down. It seems to help ease the ability to keep my shoulders and back in check. Nice change as a good way to finish a bicep workout, IMO.
