Long story short, I'm 17 years old and I've always been in great shape without working hard. I say that because I've always had a 6-pack, good frame, etc. without working out.
I mean I never work out.
However, I'm starting to worry. I don't know if I'm eating more, or maybe it's because I've become more inactive, but I'm losing my 6-pack.
So... my question is
What's the fastest way to get it back? I've always had one... and it's not been like OMFG your ripped as hell, but it's just been there. Now, however, it's fading.
What I can't understand is that I don't have much body fat. My stomach is kind of almost bulging out (not big), but I can't really sit there and pinch fat. I have no fat rolls whatsoever.
I've heard rumors that if you don't use it, your stomach muscles "flop out" and just sit on your stomach instead of being tucked away like they would be if you're active.
Is that true?
I've done football, baseball, wrestling, martial arts (still do), but never technically weightlifted, and could it be that I"m not using my abs so they're bulging out?
I'm a very dedicated person. I need my pack back in a month in a half (reasons that aren't important), and I will do what it takes to get it.
How do I do that? Do I have to run... do situps.... what?
I hate situps because they make me feel like they're not working at all, and running never seems to work because it's long and tedious... but like I said, I'll do what it takes.
Do you think if I ran 2 miles a day and did crunches or whatever twice a day, every day for the next month and a half, I'd make it?
Go to the diet section and read. We don't make diets for people. You have to read for yourself. Plus, I don't cut (loose fat) and wouldn't now how to make a very good diet.
