Did you do the valsalva maneuver (held your breath thru the lift)? That is a typical result of doing that.
After I finish SLDL's I feel slightly lightheaded and once i thought my head was going to honostly explode..

Yeah, I would guess it is breathing related. It could also be related to low blood sugar levels.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

Breathing is a major part of proper technique. The valsalva maneuver is an effective tool, but if you do it you have to realize your bp may increase and you may get lightheaded. It also helps to be doing it on purpose when it happens, that way if you get lighteheaded you know what it is from.
Could def be from low blood sugar as well.
