    Chest/Tri people...

Just wondering who hear does this together? Im assuming you do chest, then followed by a tricep workout. Do you do a regular tricep workout, or just a few sets? I know after I do chest my triceps are usually done, I'm just curious what exercises/how many sets you guys do after a full chest workout. Also how long does this workout usually take you, and do you find it affective? I usually do arms on the same day, but I was thinking about changing it up to shock the muscles.

After chest, I'll usually do a total of 6 sets for tris as well, so a couple different exercises. Some days though, I'll do more shoulder work after chest, and then just 2-3 sets of tris.

chest day im about to go do is probably going to look like this:

barbell flat press 3-4 working sets
inclined db press 3 working sets
    hammer strength press 2-3 sets
    flys inclined 3 sets
lateral raises 4-6 sets in two formats
    dumbell declined skullcrushers 3 sets
overhead cambered bar tricep extensions 3 sets
maybe a few sets of pressdowns for fun

i suppose the overtraining nazi's will be chiming in now.

I don't really do direct tricep work currently, but I have done that split in the past. It works just fine.

    Chest/Shoulder/Triceps

Focus on the heavy movements first.. so like:

    Flat BB 5sets
    CG bench 4sets
    Incline DB 3-4sets
    Rope pressdowns/skull crushers 3-4sets
    P-side Inc.
