If you're going up 10-15lbs in a month, I can guarantee it's not muscle.

^^^ correct. Just hit my 3 month mark and weights are starting to flatten out. I hope for a 5-10lbs increase every 2 weeks or so.. Or whenever I feel I can throw it up..

I am not looking foward to my 1 or 2 year plateau.

Oh, I didn't know you meant bench.

From personal experience (also the only time I had access to a bench), in 10th grade I went up 60 pounds in bench in 4 months.

There is a wide range of possibilities depending on all kinds of factors. Don't worry about it. Just train, track your progress, and be consistent.
