i think what people here are trying to tell you is that, when the weights feel easy, you should switch to heavier weights. you want to keep challenging yourself. in general, you won't see good results if you lift weights that are easy for you. it doesn't have to be more complicated than that.Originally Posted by alexvega

If easy, increase weight until it is hard to lift and finish all your sets
if you start getting sore in your joints and elbows, don't increase weight, lower weight and do more sets.
