    for me, about 4-6 inches apart

    I don't like going any closer than having my elbows fully tucked with my forearms perfectly perpendicular to the ground. I don't really see the point.

    i just recently started using a reverse grip CG press..... it seems to hit the triceps pretty good.... and on this grip i go about shoulder width..... im assuming this would work too with the normal grip CG press

    Try doing that with a reverse and thumbless grip. It worked really well for me.
