I would advise you to go to the nutrition section of the forums. You should be eating 5-6 smaller meals a day, of much healthier foods.
A member of the forums named Jodi has put together a pretty good diet guide located here
http://www.ironmagazineforums.com/sh...ad.php?t=21113 (Guide to Cutting, Bulking & Maintenance)
I don't really know much, but I personally spend alot more time on my abs than 8 minutes. I just find 3/4 excersizes that make my abs hurt and do them until I cant pull myself up anymore. You also should not excersize your abs every day of the week. Allow at least 2 days in between.

"my thought is you are to fixated on your BW. WHo the fuck cares if you gained water weight? Quit being such a pussy. I swear to god, the guys on this site that post in the diet forum are like bitches...."eek...I gained 3lbs overnight". Shut the fuck up. Eat food and pick heavy shit up and quit being a pussy. Are you a man or a chick?"

Wow, where do I even start.... do some research. Read the stickies.

Push-up and jogging aren't going to help with abs much - except for the fact that they burn calories so it does increase the amount of calories you burn.

The 8 minute ab video will help build ab muscles but if you still have that layer of fat over them, they aren't going to be visible.

Your diet is horrible, horrible, horrible. Captain Crunch? Fries? Fruit bars? The most important thing to get abs is to have a good diet. This is not a good diet.

I think your total calories for the day are off. There is no way you are eating 1300 calories at 17 and still functioning. You need to eat. Don't waste the best muscle building years of your life on Captain Crunch and not building muscle.

At 120 pounds, if you loose enough weight to see your abs, you are going to end up looking horribly skinny. Coming here and saying you are only wanting to work on abs is kind of silly. Those pictures of ultra fit people you see in magazines and on tv... they don't just concentrate on abs. Your body is whole package and improving the rest of your body is critical to improving your abs.

I almost think this is a joke but I'll answer it seriously...

Don't workout the same muscles every day, give them a couple days rest in between because you DAMAGE muscles when you work them out, so just like a scraped knee it needs to heal in between.

Eating healthy TASTES BAD for the most part, if it tastes good -- don't eat it!
Whites like Pasta and White bread and captain crunch will make you gain weight, stay away from sugar too.

Okay and lastly listen to the people here, you do not want to cut weight at 120 pounds, getting in shape takes time -- a long time. Build your whole body and eat a high protein good amount of non saturated fats and calories and exercise your whole body. Read the training section and the Diet section.

Watch Pumping Iron, it has a few tips in there that are worth while and maybe you'll listen to Arnold....

bah, only if you can't cook...

id rather eat a nice grilled chicken dinner with salad and sweet potato than a big mac and cheetos any day.

if you think eating healthy tastes bad, then you're doing something wrong...

i'd say a better rule of thumb is... if it makes you feel like SHIT, AFTER you eat it, then don't eat it.

That's definitely me!

I eat tuna and beans and cottage cheese and lean meats all day, I was just trying to discourage the big mac diet as you said and encourage wheat breads and non starchy type foods and no candy and what not.

Yeah bro you need to eat more, i mean a 10 year old girl that is anorexic eats more. eat 5-7 small meals, 2 or 3 can even be protein shakes. maybe your problem with your abs is that you do not have big enough ones, and you need to biuld them up. i mean abs are muscle too, so training them every day will be over training. 120 pounds. eat 125 grams protein, 250 grams carbs, 65 grams fat, which equals 2085 calories. then if you arent gaining add 500 calories per wek, until you do. i mean not to say anything becuase no one is perfect, but why just your abs at 120 pounds you should start getting bigger then egt ripped. smaller guys look bigger than taller guys. like me i am 6'5, you are 5'5. if you gain 20 pounds of muscle it will look a hell of alot more pronounced than if i gained it. but abs 2 times a week maybe 3, and maybe taraxatone, it could just be water hiding it. sorry this was so long but have a nice day.

These are my dreams, which I must make reality!
