Opinion on Injury

I think I maybe have injured my glute, but I'm not sure in what way. I did it the other day while running sprints. I had warmed up pretty thorougly, but it felt tight so I stretched it and then ran a mile, but the next day it was feeling very tight and it hurt ( not unbearably or extremely bad ) but, usually only when I sat down or stood up or had been sitting for any length of time ( general soreness etc ), but when I workedout and ran the last two days it feels okay when it's warm, but does hurt when I'm finished. I have a good 2-3 weeks for X-Mas Break to rest it, but I'm not sure what I did. Could it be a pull? A over-stretch? I tried legs today, but it hurt to much to squat so I stayed with calves and legpresses.

Thanks, but how long do you think I should wait before I can pick back up cardio. I was hoping to drop a few lbs before football offseason started again ( when school starts )

football season is in aug! you have a lot of time.

how long you should wait depends on how injured you are.
