    1) re-bands are not knee wraps. they don't give you any pop. they are there to keep heat on the joint for those with knee issues. They are not performance enhancing.

    2) the bounce is there because Jesse was an olympic lifter so his natural tendency is to pop out of the bottom of the hole. he is explosive!

Yan- Doc was 52 and 155lbs in that video!! simply amazing!

god I love that video. I wish there was the whole thing. After that, he is rolling on the ground and the other guys at the gym are like "get up you pussy! quit whinning! you are always whinning. what a bitch"....then he gets up and does round back SLDLs off of a platform with 375lbs for like 17 reps. Then he clean and presses the log for a few and does some shrugs with the farmers walk implements. Does the nautalis lat pull over for an all out set and then finishes with BB curls with 155 for like 5 reps.

then he sits there and talks about the workout and says "the squats felt pretty good. I think my depth was good? usually my depth is never a problem. It felt like i was sinking them. How many did I get? 20? 21? 22?" and everyone in the room is like "I think you got 10. Yea, you defenitly got 10...maybe 12." lol

YES!! CP you da man brother!

now thats a set of 20 rep squats.

and like Pat said, i think the sound is different, because i remember him clearing his nose a bunch of times and lots of "FUCK!! I'M GOOD, I'M GOOD!!"

the best part of that workout was that he crawls around on the floor for a while and goes to the weight tree to get plates for his Log clean and Presses, then one of the guys goes over to help and doc just says "no no, lemme do it, it'll give me more rest time!"

LMAO!! I forgot about that part!! hahahaha....he is like "let me do it. i need the rest." and then his training partner Jack said something like "what a dick" or "what a jerk" or something...haha...that is defenitly my all time favorite training tape!

Can this video be purchased? That sounds like it would be pretty awesome. That Leistner is hardcore. Squats, SLDLs, and clean & presses with a log all in the same workout. What a sick and twisted man he is. Haha.

Can't purchase it sadly. He had a few copies and one of my buddies has one. that is how we saw it. he got it because he was one of Doc's powerlifters and competed for Doc many times. Doc was the original owner of Iron Island also.

I know this isnt part of his training program, but this is why I think "overtraining" is BS. I mean bullshit and yes I know this was a one time thing

Overtraining is not bullshit. It is a well documented state of being.

He does that workout and then doesn't train for another 2-3 days to prevent overtraining. It is not bull shit. He will tell you that if he trained like that all the time he would be overtrained. He gives himself long breaks between workouts. Read into high intensity training.
