Question Pain from lower back after deadlifts

Well today its been 7 days since my last back workout. I thought repping 415 was old school to me, but as you can see, I fucked something up.

The pain is on my right side, above my glutes. I would be on the very opposite side of the side of my belly button. (So, not RIGHT above the glutes)

Anyway, my question is, you guys think I can still work out other muscles? Like chest, arms, shoulders? I figured squatting may agitate it if form isnt perfect.

Its not an unbearable pain, just when I bend over to tie my shoes, for example, rounding the back.
    6' 217lbs (10/18)
    Bench 365 (12/3)
    Weighted Pullups 80lbs 3x3 (3/19)
    Squat 370
    Deadlift after herniation 385lbs 3x3 (3/17)

What kinda pain?? Sharp pain?? Burning sensation?? Do me a favor and pick something maybe 5 or 10lbs and hold it straight out in front of you for a minute and tell me what that feels like...I too have hurt my back and if it's the same thing, then a couple visits to the chiro will fix u right up...

No sharp pain or burning. Almost like a sore muscle really.

many people have herniated discs and don't even realize it, depends on the size and location of the herniation, if you still have pain after 7 days that is not a good sign. you should have been icing it the first few days and completely resting the past 7, and taking an anti-inflammatory, if you have been doing all of that and still have the pain I would wait a few more days, if it persists I would consider seeing a doc about it. trust me back injuries are nothing to mess around with.

it might just be back pain from the deadlifts.. my back is tight a couple days after dl's. And the tightness is there between sets, but i work through it, there is nothig wrong, it is just tight muscles from never doing DL's before.

but if it is a pain that feel like there is something wrong, then get it checked out..

true, but if you have pain like he described after 7 days of rest that is not good.
