    Question for Abs

Lately I've just been doing crunches/reverse crunches until failure or at least until the song im listening to ends, haha..

is this a bad idea, should i be doing sets instead of just going to failure?

I don't think anything is wrong with doing crunches till failure. Are you doing them with weight?

If it's working, keep doing it. If it stops working, change it.

So, are you progressing somehow in the number of reps you're able to do or the weight with which you perform the reps?

You can also strengthen the abs (if this is your goal) by doing the big compound movements to quite a degree. Direct ab work is not always necessary. Just find what works for you and your goals and stick with it.

I do can do like 10 to the 100th power crunches and not reach failure. How the hell do you reach failure? Rep 948?

I prefer to do sets. I also prefer to use something that provides more resistance than a crunch.

We've got a little set up at the gym that pretty much puts you upside down. I like to hold a plate next to my chest and crunch for sets.
