    Finally got a caliper for BF

    Weight = 217.5
    Height = 6'2
    Body Fat = 22.3%

    Fat weight = 48.50
    Muscle = 168.99

    I have been bulking up since September when I was 193lbs to what I am now. I was planning on going with my Bulk until spring time since I have gotten my bf, would you guys recomment I cut. Or should I continue with the bulk and then get cut. Also what is considered to be a good percentage of body fat.

    Help me out guys and girls.

    A healthy range for men is 12-15%. So, you are a bit on the high side. I would diet down a bit before trying to bulk up anymore.

    Did you have some that is experienced take your skinfolds?

    How many sites did they do? A seven or nine site test is more accurate then a 3 site test.

    Well I actually did the test myself, i took it an inch above my right hip did it three times and took the average of them. I would assume it is around 20%. If I was to continue bulking would the extra body fat make gaining muscle harder?

    yuo can't measure your BF on one site. BF is over your entire body. Get someone to take a 7 site test for you.

    So I did chest three times and did the average which came to 21.3mm then the thighs the average of the three came to 13.3mm and the abdominal area the average came to 26.6. Added all three and did the average for them which came to 20.4 which according to the chart gives me a body fat of 18.9%

    see, it is going down. Now have someone do a 7 site test to get a more accurate reading.
