1. Very very unlikely it is due to strength loss. Unless you have a muscle wasting disease, or you've been starving yourself stupid, you're not going to lose any strength over two weeks. More than likely the rest and the holiday eating would have done you well - which you already noticed in your first workout.Originally Posted by motionman04
2. It could, but again unlikely, be down to your form being slightly out of whack with the bench press - because form does matter, but if you warmed up properly your form should have come back pretty quick.
3. If you over did your triceps the day before then this could have also affected your bench press if you weren't fully recovered.
If this is the case - then you should write up your workout so the forum can tweak it to make sure you're doing ok.
4. But more than likely - you're just crazily psyching yourself out for no good reason.![]()
