Poor nerve transmission on left side of chest

After reading Gopro's reply to my Bicep post which he says my left bicep could be having a poor nerve transmission (which I believe it is), I was wondering can such a thing happen to the Chest as well.

The left side of my chest, directly below my armpit is alot less meatier compared to the right side. When doing a front body pose the difference can't be seen, but if I flex my chest on side views, you can clearly see the right side 'popping' out alot more than the left.

Any idea how to solve this problem?

Keep on going...

The one thing that I can tell you is no one is perfectly symmetrical. We all have one side that is larger.

Even though I am right handed every muscle on my left side has a longer muscle belly and is a little bit larger. The only person that can see this is me. I used to do extra sets on my right side, but you have to be careful because you do not want one side stronger than the other, that will just increase your imbalance.

This is because your right arm has been trained by your brain over for coordination. The left hand has had little training therefore when you begin to lift weights, your brain begins to wire your left arm for load bearing work.

I don't agree LrdViperScrpion, like prince, I'm right handed but my right arm is still bigger than my left.

So for me, that doesn't apply??

Cool

It can happen with any bodypart...and it is common to be in several muscles on one side of the body. However, this is only a possibility. You would need to be checked by a doctor to be sure. And like was mentioned, none of us are perfectly proportioned on each side of our bodies.

I would do some extra work for the left pec. One arm crossovers would be best here as your goal will be to ISOLATE the pec as much as possible. Add in a few sets for the left side at the end of your weekly chest workout, and perhaps a few more sets at one other workout during the week.
