for me is to run the mile in under 4:30 minutes, bench 315x10 raw, (feet on the bench), squat 500x10 ass to grass squat, 500x12 deadlift(conventional), and clean and press 365, all drug free, including no pro hormones. the only 'supplements' if you will, would be creatine and protein. i want to do this before im 25( 7 years to go).
as far as the bodyweight, im right now 6' 192 lbs and about 10% bf. i want to get up to 250 with 12-15% bf but not maintain that weight, i just want to see if its possible without steriods or any kind of help whatsover. i want to maintain my weight at 205-215 with 8-10% bf, 17.5 inch arms cold, 28 inch thighs, and 50 inch back. all before the age of 25 as well.
well after stating my elaborate goals, whats your goals?
I haven't really thought about lifetime goals. I guess I could set very long-term goals for a while, but after I achieved them I would still set more so it seems a little pointless. I do of course have some short-term goals, and one goal I consider to be long-term.
Goals by July 5, 2006:
Deadlift: 475
ATG Back Squat: 350
ATG Front Squat: 315
DB Bench: 200 (may or may not train this)
Farmers Walk: 280
C&J: 250
Clean: 275
BW: 190
Another goal I may or may not go after is to break the national deadlift record for the 16-17 age group. If I can get down to 180 or so and stay there, I have a shot at a 570 deadlift (I may actually be able to do this raw and the record is, of course, with gear). If I stay above that, I'll need about another 75 pounds on my deadlift. So I'll see how that goes.
Eventually I want to be able to C&J much more than 250 and do a higher deadlift and farmers walk as well. Maybe 800 for the deadlift and 600 for farmers walk (total that is). I guess we'll see though.
Push yourself. Enjoy yourself. Be yourself.
Knowledge is power. Obsessed with functional strength. Journal
Eventually bench 315 for reps (somewhere around 6-10), Squat 450-500 for reps, deadlift 500-600.... Don't really care if it's for reps or triples or single...
As far as bodyweight/fat, I'd like to get to around 210-215 and 10% bf and more or less maintain that. Sometime before 30 would be ideal for these goals... I plan on staying steroid/hormone free, but that could change after quite a few years.
I mean really, I want to be as strong as I possible can. I'm sure if I hit these numbers I will want more. Nonetheless, I think something like the following is very achievable:
Deadlift: 585 (6 Plates Per Side)
Squat: 455 (4.5 Plates Per Side)
Bench Press: 365 (3.5 Plates Per Side)
Overhead Press: 275 (2.5 Plates Per Side)
Chinup: BW + 100 Pounds
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

Those are reasonable stats that I would like to achieve also. IMO, anything more than that and you will have to be using research chemicals, or be close to a mesomorph...
