Building a Squat Cage/rack

Has anyone here built/bought a squat cage/rack? im interested in doing that so i dont have to rely on the gym all the time. i would prefer one that has the adjustable bar stops on the sides. im planning to use it for pull ups, hanging leg raises, squats and bench pressing so i dont need a spotter at home.

are there any on the market that go for decent prices? what prices should i expect?

im looking to put it in my basement so i'll have to be able to take it apart if i need to move out of my house so a cage that is welded together isnt an option.

thanks a lot

I bought a Body Solid cage from the local exercise eq. store (Sacramento CA). It was used and I paid $185 for it. I think it is like $350 new. So that should give you a range of what you may pay for a cage with adjustable stops. You can watch the classified ads in your local paper as well. Over the weekend I saw a rack/leg press with 300lbs of wts for $250. Delivery is going to be pricey if you buy new or do not have a pick-em-up truck.

Buy two $20 steel sawhorses from Home Depot. They're adjustable in height and hold 1200 pounds each. Cheap? Yes. Effective? Yes.
