I'm almost 19, I never played any sports in highschool, which i regret now, because i left highschool very weak. I weigh about 145-150(Quickly gaining haha) my max(pathetically) is about 160, but i started lifting weighing around 125lbs and only being able to bench 90lbs. I don't squat much anymore, although i'll be getting into it soon. Around 6 months ago i repped somewhere around 180-190. How long you been liftin bro?

Haha, glad to know i'm not the only one...

It's alright though, i just had to fine-tune my diet and change my routine a bit, im coming along decently now. I did alot of research and shit, so hopefully this year will be more productive.

I started lifting again when I was 18. My first foray into it was at the age of 13 in a weight training class in high school, and then a little more while I wrestled, which was very brief.

Anyway, my suggestion is to stick to the compound stuff, eat a lot of food, and do some research. A little research would go a long way.

Also, I suggest looking beyond your typical bodybuilding splits and to train for performance/strength and eat for mass. That's a little more biased statement though.

    Just turned 18.
Bw- 185 ( bulking, going up up up)
    Bench- not sure, between 215-230
    Squat- 315
    Deadlift- who knows

As you can see maxing isn't very important to me these days, it's all about gaining mass...

I must say, I'm quite impressed by some of the people here. A lot of new younger athletes seem to be here and it's definitely a good thing in my opinion. A lot of impressive stats here indeed...

Lol, if you consider weight lifting a sport then there are alot of athletes here.
    Anyways.

Age: 19, I put 20 so people will stop heckling me about my age.
    Weight: 235
    Height: 6'3
Bench: 334 according to the rep calc, but I have only attempted 315.
    Squat: 500lb
Im 20. 6'3'' 235 lbs. Want to get to 8% body fat, +315 bench, +500 squat, and reach a weight between 230-240.

Who doesn't consider weightlifting a sport? Then again, I'm talking about pure weightlifting: C&J and snatch. Those who are seriously involved in recreational lifting are athletes to me, so long as they're not pansy BBers. Heh, heh, heh...
