Optimum Anabolics Program??????

Anybody here about the Optimum Anabolics Program, by Muscle Nerd? It sounds interesting and everyone says the techniques are controversial. Anyone who has used this program, have you seen results? Is it worth the money?

Care to drop a link with more information? I'd be curious to see it.

Okay, that's just a bunch of hype. It doesn't really lay out the program in any kind of detail.

I know this is old, but I have this e-book and it acually does lay out a program very specifically.

It's all basic, normal stuff. With one CRAZY idea.

Low protien for 3 weeks, which he claims will force your body to produce more androgens and hormones naturally to keep up.

Crazy...

No. I might try it later this year. But I'm definitely scared of that Low protein thing. Just boggles the brain, and I don't know if I believe it. I have read the e-book though, and I just wanted to clarify that he does put together a complete program.

Actually his routine and the simplicity he puts it in along with pre/post workout nutrition and diet is probably one of the best I have ever read. It's just the crazy idea of Low protein that scares me.

I was actually researching this idea looking to see if anyone here had try'd it so I used the search and found this thread.

Given a stimulus, the body should theoretically work around the problem of low protein requirement by finding ways to supplement that problem (probably cope by nurturing amino acids from other soures in the body and increasing the efficiency of available protein through hormonal means). In theory, I suppose. The body is highly adaptable.

Whether doing something that extreme would be optimized above providing all the proteins necessary in the right measure at the right time, however, is a different question. I'd guess that it might have some positive affect as a one time thing (which means 3 weeks and never do it again)...overdoing something that wild would probably force your body to hit an alarm phase and start regressing rapidly.

Actually, I think doing something like that would be unnecessary mental torture and far inferior to other means, but what do I know.

lol, Sounds like what I was thinking. I'm still looking to see if anyone ACTUALLY did that part of this program.

However the rest of it is at least solid and he does put a specific program together. Very comprehensive.

I like where he says the body has a mind and a free will of its own.
