    Hiit

    well, i've seen this around for a while, and have not really been bothered to understand what it means, could someone please tell me what HIIT is, as all i know is that it is for better fat loss, but im curious to know i little about what the heck it is, and how to "perform" it....thanks for any help...

    HIIT= High Intensity Interval Training

    Usually people are talking about it in the format of doing anerobic sprints on the treadmill or bike.

    You mix periods of anaerobic exertion with periods of recovery which is done at aerobic levels. An example would be a near-sprint for 30 seconds followed by 90 seconds of light jogging repeated for 7-10 cycles. You should, of course, preceed this with a proper warm-up. You don't want to just jump into sprinting when you've been sitting in an office chair for 8 hours.
