I Am In The Weight Room Atleast 5 Times A Week And I Take Weekends Off. I Have No Trouble With Getting Results In The Weight Room, But My Cardio And Endurance Training Sucks. I Can Run 2 Miles Every Other Day And I Don't Really Feel Better Throughout The Day. Appearance Wise I Like What I See With The Exception Of A 6 Pack But I Don't Feel Like Im In Complete Good Shape. What Can I Do To Feel Better Physically. I Try Running And It Seems Like My Endurance Or Stamina Isn't Getting Any Better. Any Suggestions Would Be Appreciated.
You lift five times a week and run two miles every other day??? Sounds to me like you're doing too much. You're lackluster feeling is a pretty good sign of overtraining. Try backing off on either the weights or the cardio for a while and see if you start feeling more peppy.
play racket ball...that's some fun cardio, unlike running....you get to hit people in theyr butt with tiny balls.work on your abs 2 times a week...or once a week on legs day.
i play squash (racketball in usa????) and its a very good cardio exercise, its fun and you dont notice how much youve done coz its not boring like running can be. in the summer i run up hills and it makes a HUGE impact on my stamina. try a 6-7 mile run up with inclines and you'll come on quickly, if at first you cant run up the steep bits, no problem - walk it!
Im looking for endurance and stamina....being able to explode for a reasonable amount of time before becoming tired. What can I do to help with this. Would plyos help....I'm a very good competitor and i think sometimes that's the only thing that keeps me in the games.
