    Fried

Had to fag out of an ME bench day last night and go back to 6-8 rep work to make it through. When a 5RM max hurts like a 1RM and you get 3 reps it's time to shut it down for the week IMO. I also had elbow pain which is new.

When you guys are fried, what do you do? Take a week off, work DE type days, do some hypertrophy work (what I had in mind).

Damn things were going good this month too! Funny thing is that in the past I would have hit it hard again Wednedsay to "break through"...thank god to knowledge.

When I get fried I like to just take a week and lay back. Maybe keep up with some light body exercises such as pushups, etc. If you feel you're overdoing it, stop for a week before you get hurt.

A perfect example, for the past week I have been feeling overworked and sore in a different kind of way. Yesterday I was doing military presses and on my 5th rep my shoulder dislocated, causing me to drop the full bar right on my lap. Now I sit here in pain, my left arm almost unmovable. I'm sure this will set me back.

Just letting you know my experience, so this doesn't happen to you too.
I don't train hard, eat right, and do the things I do for others. I do it for myself.

....did I mention the ladies too???

I tend to take a week off every 2-3 months regardless. I may or may not do a little cardio or light lifting during this time. If i was feeling injured however, I wouldn't do any lifting for this week.
