Floor presses should be harder than normal bench, correct?
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

Hmmmm.... I've been stuck at 250 for bench the last 2 weeks (failing when I try 255) for my ME exercise. Tonight I did floor presses for my ME exercise and did 255.

It depends on your strengths. If you have a strong lockout and poor explosiveness from the bottom then your floor press will be more.

Then it's not the triceps (and hence the floor presses aren't going to help you) that's the problem, it's the lats.Originally Posted by Rocco32

The only problem is I have nowhere to do the suspended benching unless I just hold it on my chest for a few seconds.Originally Posted by CowPimp
