Hey guys,
just needing some feedback here. im 30 and have had a great life of health and wellness. educated physical trainer, avid personal gains and training program and for the last 2 months i cannot by any means get myself in the gym! ive gone through slumps before weeks at a time. but this time its going on 3 months and i have none--0--nada ambition to go back to the gym. throughout my life ive trained in "mega-facilities" lively busy hard core. im now in a small town with a joke of a gym and although i have worked out here before im just lost. i dont like the gym the owners or the people in it. its boring its geriatric (old folks on every machine working out arthritis problems) and i just cant get pumped. i used to use exenedrin years ago and wished i had that cuz i feel like im in a real slump! ive got great things happening for me now and in the next few months and want that drive and confidence back but every morning i wake up i just openly say i dont care. but throughout my day in my small town i run into people and they comment me on how in shape and big i was. whats up with my motivation?? have i hit that age bracket or what????
any suggestions on current supplements that may help my motivation????????
Go at different times of the day, get some loud music, just get your ass in the gym. Do you want to be fat/lazy as foreman said, or do you want to just spend a few hours each week at the gym? It's your choice.
If there were a gym within 10 minutes of me I would go; but there's not, so I bought an olympic set of weights and a great bench/rack I can do everything on (bench to squats). Working out at home is always an option if you can't get yourself to go to the gym. But if you can't motivate yourself to go down to the basement, then you need to just give up.

I started lifting in 1981...after 6 yeras of hard lifting I costed ( lifted once a week only) for about 5 years...then got back into it....then in 2002 I took 3 years off all exercise and got fat ( trained about once a month at most in those 3 years) .....now I have been back for 8 months......I still don't give a shit but have some goals to hit by 40.......but my big motavation is I don't want to be just another fat American.......at 50 I want to look 40.....who gives a shit if I want to train.....hell I want to get drunk every day all day and eat pizza......but I don't......I just do that once a week.
