i can do about 55% percent of what i can leg press on squats. It depends on lots of things though: friction of the leg press machines' rods, how far you take the weight down on the leg press, the length of your legs, etc. But generally most people i've talked to do about 50-60% of their leg press on the squat rack.

There is no direct equivalent. I was leg pressing over 1200 for 20 reps, but was never doing 600/700 for reps on the squat.

I did 700 pounds on the leg press, knees to chest for 8 reps once. I have maxed on squat at round 500. But these were only parallel. So no way to tell.

Best way to find out how much you can squat.

Jesus, you guys are strong. I only leg pressed like a hundred or so more pounds than I squat.

There is no way in the world to tell. Despite the friction & wasted energy between the weight and the machine, neuromuscular adaptation differences between the exercises, ability to train with the exercise in question (i.e. how much your traps tolerate on squats) etc. will be unique for everyone. I haven't ever really done leg presses but the one time I did it was akward and I did only a few more hundred pounds than I squat...
