lying twists like russian twists (torso twists) or like lying leg twists? Either way, there is nothing wrong with doing some oblique work.
anyone think these are worth a damn? I was thinking of maybe doing them. The gym I go to doesn't have one of those oblique machines.

any other excercise you have in mind that would be more beneficial for the obliquies?
I usually do bicycles or russian twists if I am wanting to work my abs. other than that I just do compound exercises like squats and deadlifts which hit the core pretty hard on their own.
