Get buff in two months? The answer: steroids, a perfect diet, and a personal trainer.
I got a 2 day routine from P-Funk. It's full body I think.
Day 1
DB bench press
DB squat
bent over Db row
DB step up
curls
Day 2
DB RDL
Db sholder press
DB lunge
Prone incline DB row (lying face down on the incline bench)*
triceps
I need to get buff quicker. I'm modeling in the summer.. I need to get a bit big but not alot 6 pack and buffness. I need more workouts without busting my muscle though. I need to get on the road to buffness quick! Very quick I gotta be ready in the middle or April to start. Think you can help me?
Thanks guys if you can..![]()
Peace out, Chris

what kind of equipment do you have access to?
peec out, MyK!
If you'll do my 3 day per week IRON MAN "HIT" and perform 30 minutes of cardio 3 days per week at 80% VOMAX on non-training days with an emphasis on on eating 5-6 high protein meals per day you can get buff by summer.Originally Posted by Imwithstupid926

Alright.. I'll try to get on your HIT training but I probably wont have the equipment to do it. I cant go on steriods either. I'm going to go check out your topic.
Are you sure your program is ok for a 13 going on 14 year old?

Ok but will it get me to my goals of being buff and 6 pack by summer? I really gotta get there and I have to model! :x
You can perform any kind of workout and not experience results if you don’t apply yourself in all areas of bodybuilding and/or general fitness.
At 13 years old, you should take into account the very basics of a total bodybuilding package. That means (for starters), three things:
Consistency in training, diet, and mindset;
Training – learning the fundamentals – that means basic exercises and focusing in on mechanics – how you perform each exercise, including the repetitions – working on your form – which will lead to greater overall gains.
Keep it basic and simple – the routine P-funk gave you – looks like a good one to start with.
Diet – Like IRON MAN suggested, make sure you are getting enough protein each day to promote growth and recovery – at least 4-6 meals per day. Sources may include: lean beef, chicken and turkey breast, fish, egg whites, low-fat milk products, cottage cheese, and protein powder. Keep up the carbohydrates too – oatmeal, rice, potatoes, etc.
Mindset - the belief that you will achieve your goal – which includes visualization (imagining/seeing productive workouts and the end result of being “buff”); believe and you will become. Also, make sure you concentrate, develop the mind-muscle connection, feel the muscle(s) working as you train.
Also, you DO NOT NEED steroids at your age or to develop a strong, healthy, appealing body.
As far as a personal trainer is concerned, there are plenty of knowledgeable people here to help you succeed.
Good luck…

I don't really think you should necessarily do the Ironman HIT program just yet. Not that it isn't effective, but if I recall you are a total beginner. Stay at the low intensity end of the spectrum for the first few months and focus on getting the form down on your lifts before you move onto something that involves total failure and/or heavy lifting. No need to rush into things and hurt yourself. You're going to see amazing gains on a more basic program.

So will I be going to Hollister California in June with ripped stuff if I get this all done and right?
just stick to the workout. All you have access to is some DBs and a Bench...you have no power rack and you have no barbells and you have no training experience!! Your training age is at the lowest it can be. Learn to lift with good form on the basic exercises that I gave you and as you improve you can make adjustments as far as intensity, volume, training to failure etc.....Rember, you are new....anything you do will make you grow and you have to be mindful of builduing a solid strucural base (tendons, muscles, etc..). So for now keep the rep ranges higher and give your body a chance to adapt to load being placed on it.

your right. I gotta get diet. Thanks Patrick![]()
In 2 months I've gotten some "clients" pretty big on standard HIT training...but scratching the 1 set to failure for 2.
But ignore that, because P-Funk knows his shift.
"in the howling bleeding nights, the dogs plunge into the Volga and swim desperately to gain the other bank. The nights of Stalingrad are a terror for them. Animals flee this hell; the hardest stones cannot bear it for long; only men endure."
So you gave P-funk a bunch of info, he worked out a routine for you, then you came in here to get other people to change it. Christ.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.
