    Time to start cutting.

Its that time again. Im now 167lbs, 5'6 and my bf% is close to 20. I am going to try to lose about 17lbs of fat in about 4-5wks.

I need help. Ive perviously tried to cut but i ended up doing it very ineffcicnetly.

-How can I estimate a good BMR for myself to work with?

    I weight 167lb
    5'6
    17yrs-old

-Whats a good Cardio/HITT routine to lose fat?

-Should I even do weight training and try to gain muscle while tring to cut because ill be in a calorie defeicit.

    ,thank you.

if I were you, I would keep bulking until spring/summer time rolls around... you arent going to be taking your shirt off for anyone in the middle of February or March, or even April anyways.
Of course if you feel its time to cut, by all means go ahead... just a suggestion.

At a bodyfat of 20% I don't think he should keep bulking. And if he wants to look good for the summer, I think he definitely should start now. Healthy weight loss won't happen immediately. Better to do it slow and steady, than try to lose all this weight as fast as possible.

cutting is more dependant on your diet.

Just do cardio about 3-5 times per week. I personally do it 4-5.

Yes. It will give your body a reason to hold on to the muscle.

    ,thank you.
