    reps of 100?(shock)

So I was reading this magazine an they have a routine on there where you do 1 set 100reps. they give you a 2 wk/program an tell you not to it more then those 2weeks at a time and if you plan on doin it again to wait atleast 6 wks.. So I decided to try it because I have been doin relativly the same workout for the last 2 yrs. Im a week into it an after workout my muscles are pumped with blood flow. Muscles are in pain the next couple days but the good pain of a good workout.(Im still a beleiver in no pain no gain) anyways thats not the point of this thread. Its a grueling workout to rep out 100 an you feel like a real pussy pushin 65lbs on the bench press I jus want to know what you all think of this bizarre program?? either way im stickin with it for another wk.

Im also not in a bulking phase actaully jus tryin to get ripped now because to maintain 185lbs is to hard an I look a million times better with the shirt off at 175.. shirt on maybe diff story but who cares about that. back to the main topic tho what ya'll think about that program?

I could be wrong but won't doing 100 reps hit the wrong kind of muscle fibres? As in slow twitch and NOT fast twitch?
I love it when a plan comes together.

if you're sticking with it for another week regardless, why do you want feedback?

I actually made a post about this workout in the "Arnold's leg workout" thread. It is crap! You would have to be using an extremely low weight. Even if it did work, would you really want to suffer the likely embarrassment of doing 100 reps of something?

I dont care about the embarrassment i go at 6am when no ones there An to the "bigbadwolf", im stickin with it regardless because I want to see what it does or doesnt do. your oppinion wasn't goin to alter my program jus curious of what you all thought. You need to relax a bit. anywho, its suppose to trigger equally epic muscle groups, all bodies react differently i'll let ya know if i see any changes in size or strength. loss or gain.

It might be a nice change of pace for a week or two, but after that you will start to lose size and power....I do sets of 20-30 reps from time to time and find them a great help.

Yeah, I can't imagine it's all that useful for hypertrophy but it might provide a bit of fun.
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

Nice idea. Perhaps you could try something more in the range Foreman suggested. Seems like this would be high enough to kick start any change.
