I trained with a power lifter 10 years ago.....he had me cut back my weight by 15% on all lifts....the end result....I got bigger and stronger than I had ever been, and I was 100% drug free.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

Nice. I did the same thing. For the 1st 2 years of lifting I thought it was purely about how much weight I could shift. Made a few gains but nothing significant then gradually realised its form that counts.

But as with many other aspects of weightlifting, it's a continual learning process.
I love it when a plan comes together.

For the last several years ive been really gung ho about proper form and always using full ROM. Always. I see kids in the gym half as big as me lifting the same weights I do, or more sometimes, albeit with some compromise in form or ROM.
So I think for me, maybe its time i start swinging those weights and my body like jay in that video, maybe it will help me bust my current plateau. i dunno.

Kenwood, squeeze your bicep as hard as you can when your at the top of the ROM, trust me man, I have been doing it w/o squeezing for a long time, never felt the burn, never felt sore the next day, now with this method my biceps as sore as fuck for the next 3 days after my workout. With bench, there are days where I go for power with maximal weight and other days where I drop my weight bring the bar down slowly explosive up, that method gets me sore as hell and yes I do feel like my muscle gets bigger. It depends on your goals, my main gol now is to get strong thus I go heavy.

At your age I would def concentrate on form. It will pay off in the future.

It kind of depends on how bad your form was to begin with. If you aren't that far off, and you drop the weight to use better form, you wont gain that much. If you were way off, and you drop the weight to use better form, you'll gain alot. Everyone is different.

that's kind of what the RR is in p/rr/s, i think it makes sense. You would be hitting more stabalizer muscles and increasing your ROM. Just make sure it's not so light you could pump out 30 reps. I would keep it 10 or so reps maybe 4sec up and 4sec down.
