A some of you know i just changed my diet from junk and fast food to clean healthy foods and started lifting. Its 3PM right now and so far this is what i have eaten, and would have eaten more but the protein shake filled me up for a good 2-3 hours. Let me know if this sounds good so far and if im on the right track. Remember this is only as of 3PM, and will be taking another 1-2 scoops of whey and weight gainer, eat some eggs, tuna, and whatever else i can fit in and not bring it up. LOL
Morning 5:30am - Go Lean Crunch Cereal: Calories 190, Carbs. 36g, Protein 9
1 Cup Orange Juice: Calories 120, Carbs. 27, Protein 1
9am - 1scoop Whey, 1 Scoop gainer w/ Milk: Calories 352, Carbs. 35, Prot 32
9:30am - bananna ???????
10:30am - Green Apple ????????
Nutri-Grain Bar - Calories 140, carbs. 26, Protein 1
Dannon Fruit Yogurt - Calories 150, carbs. 28, Protein 6
So far thats it, and as the week goes on im sure i will be able to throw some more things in there. also it was only a 1/4 serving of the whey/weight gainer. Also im not sure what the bananna or green apple was as nutritional value. But not adding those 2 things im at 952 calories, 152 carbs, and 49 protein. To me it still sounds a little low, but i will work my way up. I also took a multi-vitamin at 9:00am, and going to take another when i eat another meal. Let me know what you guys think....
Thanks
EDIT: Its now 9:30PM and here are the extras i have eaten.........
NO-Xplode before workout
1 scoop whey, 1 scoop gainer
4 scrambled eggs with 1 slice of cheese
1 cup orange juice
So far im at 1946 calories, 240 carbs., and 106 protein. is this ok for me? Im 5'11", 165lbs. Im trying to bulk up to about 180 and put some muscle behind my skinny arms/chest and going for a nice 6-pack. I will probably eat 1 can of tuna before bed to bump the protein up a bit. Its a big change for me and was in the bathroom 4 times. LOL. I think the milk does it for me. Today was my 1st day lifting. Let me know what you guys think/recommend. Also anyone have a good lifting routine for beginners? Like what days, how many reps/exercises?
