kenwood at age 15 that is really impressive, why is it that my bench is high compared to my deadlift/squats. I max 215 bench, (never max squat before) but my estimate is like 225-245. Deadlift is probably 205. is it just my body or what?
Way to go Kenwood, great lifts.

kenwood, with lifts like that you should enter a PL contest. Then you could post a link to the results and that would shut everyone up.
More likely your program and possibly lack of effort when it comes to training your lower body. Post your routine in detail in another thread.Originally Posted by dontsurfonmytur

It's a combination of what cowpimp said and the way your body works. Some people are better benchers than squatters/deadlifters, it's just how your body works mechanically.Originally Posted by dontsurfonmytur
That being said, I'm leaning more toward the fact you are probably fairly new to training and you (subconciously) just tend to train your bench and its accessory muscles more than your lower body.
if u are fairly new to training it is prolly that u want a big bench and thats what u prolly focus on and u prolly dont like training legs that much..you really need to focus on the big 3 lifts(bench, deads, squats) i would also focus on these too bb bentover rows, military press, bb curls, chin-ups/pull-ups,dips,cg bench, and i can go on an on but u really wanna focus on compound movementsOriginally Posted by dontsurfonmytur
