    Pectoral Injury

Hi there guys i was training hard about 2 days ago and was doing an inclined bench press and working mainly on my chest. after my workout i was in the shower and i felt a lump right next to my nipple it is really painful just wondering if you guys no what it is and if it will go away or how to get rid of it. I think it was because i did to much could this be the problem.

    Cheers

Go to a doctor. That isn't even necessarily related to weight training.

anytime you have a lump sticking out of your body that shouldn't be there....GO TO THE DOCTOR!!

Why do you think that anyone on an internet forum could just tell you what it is?

Because maybe someone else has had a similar experience? Some people could maybe give some insight for comfort. But yeah, definantly go to a doctor.

are you talking about a lump directly underneath the nipple or below it? is it painful when you touch it or when you flex your pec?

are you you using any androgens, i.e. steroids?

Sound like a partial tear or scar tissue. Do a yahoo, google search on it.
