Deadlifts probably wouldn't hurt, just make sure you use good form and not too much weight. Some shrugs may help too. Keep doing rows and pullups etc though.
Rowing movements definitely. Anything that involves scapular retraction, like face pulls, should be helpful as well.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

Deadlifts usually make my traps fairly sore (in addition to lower back and hams of course), most of my trap growth has probably come from deadlifts, more so than shrugs.Originally Posted by alexvega
