    Power Shrugs

    What are Power Shrugs and how do u do them, i see stuff about them all the time but i have no idea what they are

    Never heard of them...sounds like a fast sloppy form of the normal shrug.....a good way to injure your spine, neck, or nerves.

    some people call hang clean pulls power shrugs...is that what you mean? Some people call them jump shrugs too. Go to exrx.com. they have a video clip of jump shrugs if that is what you are talking about.

    I dont know what they look like, i am using coan deadlift program n it say to do like a certian % of ur 1rm for power shrugs.

    I sometimes do these when doing deadlifts. The way I do them is at the top of the deadlift movement I use the momentum of the motion to carry it into a shrug. Obviously I don't do this with anything more than 80% of my 1RM on deads.
