Try doing leg raises hanging from a chining bar or if you have a station use that, but i think it might be you body fat covering them like mine.
I have noticed that only the top of my abs have been developing and the lower ones seem to be much less defined. I currently do crunches and an ab machine at the gym which allows you to pull weight as you do a bending over motion. It works quite well, however, it is not training my lower abs. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for training the lower abs or has any ideas for killer ab workouts?

Try the Roman chair . It's basicaly a station that you rest your elbows on to do leg lifts . And it kills
