i need some tips on standard benching

whats a good workout plan to benchpress more? i only get to workout 2-3 days a week for about an hour. do i need to work out other muscles to bench more?

Benchpressing is the best exercise to increase your benchpress... assuming you are eating right.

You probably don't want to be benchpressing 3 times a week though. Your body needs time to heal between workouts.

... and of course you should be working other muscles too.

Shoulders triceps and even lats come into play on a bench press. Technique is important, as for the routine there are a billion to choose from.

A good diet supporting size will also help support strength, if the training and rest is there.

i warm up with 145, then i add 10 lbs till i get to 200. my goal is 250

no, saying your 1RM is 200.

warm-up with 105 about 10x
working sets
135 x 8
175 x 4
195 x 2
200 x 1

your bench will go up

I do feel that DB benching can dramatically improve one's BB benching numbers for basically the same reasons that BB benching can improve the numbers on machine benching, but that's just me. Have I seen this work? Yes. On several people? Yes. Do I use DBs myself? Yes. Will other opinions differ? Of course.
