I am cutting until June. Do you think 3 full body WO"s per week would be over training? Training heavy with 2 days off between WO's? Can I build muscle doing this even though i am cutting? Thanks.
Depends on volume and intensity

If it's properly structured, not at all. I could see training with full body routines even more frequently than that if it was setup competently. Check out www.t-nation.com. They just put up an article about designing your own higher frequency routine.

On the other end of the question... Would a full body workout, hit hard each session, and done every 3rd day be unheard of? Doing the math its about 10 sessions a month as opposed to 12 with a regular every other day with 2 day off routine.
At first thought, I think it would give the body more than adequate time to recover, but if done intensely that might be a good thing. Or would that be considered taking it a bit too easy?
edit - doh, I read the OP's question wrong and realize now that I just asked the same question. good one.![]()
