I am the strongest 53 year old on this site. Bad shoulders and all, can still get 330 lbs for one on the bench and I'm on a cut. Beat that when you hit 53. Now there's some training info for you.

See they think that if your 53 and only been training for 18 months and weigh 245 lbs that you can't bench 330. The reason cause they won't be able to at that age. But you know me and know that I train hard as a MOFO. Patrick 330 is almost half what I could bench in 1983. I put 641 lbs up once back then at a weight of 340 lbs. Matter of fact by the end of this month, I'll put up 350 lbs. Hell I put up before my injury's last year 390 on the incline.Originally Posted by ForemanRules
But I'll state this. After the injury last year, I was embarrassed to bench as it went down all the way to 160 lbs on the flat bench for one.

You know what? I'm 50, and at 220 lbs I can bench 290 and that's with an arthritic left elbow. I'm clean now, but when I was 48 and doing a simple cycle, I could do 320.
So 330 at 248 lbs and with all the shit your doing, isn't fuck. Give me some tren a, and test, not to mention the orals, and I would blow that away.

this is exactly what i'm saying. 330 is nothing. i will blow that away at the end of the month.Originally Posted by JerseyDevil
Now as far as the gear I have drop the dosage way down. Test is only at 300 mgs a week and no tren. EQ is at 800 and just started trying anavar this week @ 80 mgs a day
I'll hit over 400 at the end of the year and will be 54 in SEPT
And we care why????Originally Posted by JerseyDevil

I'm also natural. Well naturally handsome.

Awesome, good to hear. I would love to see a vid. Thats some heavy weight, IMO. I have a hard time believe you benched 641lbs though. Thats insane. I dont think you would lie though but it just seems unbelievable. You can understand.Originally Posted by Tough Old Man

Well in the 70's and 80's I was like that dumb kid that didn't think he needed to work legs and back. So i lifted 6 days a week for 7 straight years. M, W and F was Chest. T, T And Sat was Bi's and Tri's. I was only interested in two things. How big My arms were and how much I could bench. At a weight of 340 lbs and a chest at 60" (yes) 60", a 600 lb bench wasn't anything.Originally Posted by Doublebase
Let you in on a secret. One day I was away from my place of Business and came back to find that my 640 lb bench had been broke. the claim was that over 700 lbs was done. Want to know who supposelly did this.
It was done by John Minton...AKA Big John Studd
Interesting he died of liver cancer at 46.... Hmmm, I wonder why.

So what year did you do 640?
The blues had a baby, and they named it Rock and Roll
unless your natural no one give a fuck, anyone and juice their brains out and put up good numbers, lay off the juice and then see whats up, then i will be impressed, lifting on juice is like using a corked bat, it isnt all you!!!!

Amen. I used to juice, and I know doing a cycle and the dieting is hard work. But to put your numbers against a natural lifter is just bullshit.Originally Posted by Monster Mayhem
Triple Threat is 52, I think, and puts up 320 on bench natural. I FAR MORE respect that son.

Right it was me and my next door neighbor. Go fuck yourself shithead. There's no one going to put up 640 lbs today without gear. So take your 180 lb bench and devour it so you can get up to a 200 lb bench.Originally Posted by Monster Mayhem
So you are saying you benched more then Ted Arcidi in 1983?Originally Posted by Tough Old Man

Do you guys reallise that I have been only at this for 18 months after over a 20 year layoff. Shit if i would have stuck with it, my bench would be over 500 naturally. So give me a fucking break with all your bullshit.Originally Posted by JerseyDevil
You find me a 53 year old that's been lifting for 18 months and drinks beer 3 x a week that can put up over 300 lbs neverless there own weight. Then I'll be impressesed. But until you can find that mother fucker, go fuck yourselves. Find one dickheads.
This is fun![]()

I don't know and did Big John Studd bench over 700 lbs in the WWF that year and beat me?Originally Posted by JerseyDevil
See it doesn't matter to me who Ted was in those days. I know what I could bench and that's all that matters. That's why I say I'll put up over 400 lbs by the end of this year. Look at it this way. There's a guy over 50 at westside right now that can put up over 600 lbs. So doubt me as I don't give a good shit. Do you think I had a video camcorder in those days to prove to a bunch of interent assholes what I could do 22 years later. If so suck a rats ass.
So in other words you start lifting again, and go right to the juice? And we are supposed to be impressed?Originally Posted by Tough Old Man

Honestly, I believe you could put up 640... just not under powerlifting rules. The point is, now at 53, so what if you are juicing?Originally Posted by Tough Old Man

Who knows, gear might be the only option he has to advance at his age.
Who gives a shit about your bench, how well are your joints/cartilage holding up?
That is the question.
