SPEEDBAGS (Forman rules and other 'boxers')

I'm thinking of getting a 70-100lb punching bag and speed bags.. Question, besides the standard over the head 'rolling' punching you do with speed bags, what else can I do? and does it interfer with your workouts? Generally how long do you punch?

Also is a 70-100lbs bag too small?

...yeah I know NOTHING about boxing..lol!

(PS: Don't get it twisted tho, I'm a street brawler )

Get a book on speed bag drills...
(the speed bag is for hand, eye, head, coordination)

also there were some basic drills I posted on here sometime last year...

(I would never get anything smaller than a 100lb heavy bag)

Have Problems?... Chances are its due to overpopulation

I do 3 minutes on and 1 minute off, you can do sets of this in a row or mix it up......basic boxing times. Use the speed bag for eye hand coordination, quickness, foot work and shoulder endurance. I hate the bigger speed bags, so get the kind you like.
I highly recommend all IronMagLabs supplements!

"Your hands are your life" that's what my trainer always told me....so protect them with gloves or wrap them....I just wraped mine for the speed bag, but for the heavy bag you must have gloves.
