    How to do drop sets?

    Hello Friends,
I am trying the drop set routinues and I think it is working out well for me. What I do is that I pick increase my weights from say 40 - 50 - 60. I try to do 8 reps. If I can't do 60 on my 3rd set, I immediately drop down to 40 and once I fail with 40 I drop down to 30 without taking a break. Is this the correct way to do drop sets?
