    Stretching Frequency

How often should I stretch? Every day? Only after lifts? I just don't know.

I used to stretch every day, twice a day, but now I'm not really sure if that's necessary or maybe even too much.

(I'm referring to static, 20-30 second stretches)

I stretch about everyday. I use to be able to do a split when I was 10 since I got my blackbelt then. Then I slacked off and started again now I am close to a split again.

I'm able to do a split also. I've always been pretty flexible compared to most people.

Wow, I stretch before I squat and that is it. Then again, that might be the reason I haven't been able to touch my elbows together in over 15 years.
